Oh Tiffany Blue, how I love you
If there's one colour that's defined my decor over the past few years, it would have to be Tiffany Blue - or it's first cousin, Robin Egg Blue!
My love for Tiffany Blue started out gradually, but is now an addiction. In fact, you'd really be hard pressed to find a room in my home that has not been touched - at least a little - by a shade of this colour.
Even my Christmas tree was inspired by my adoration for it!
There's just something about this colour that speaks to me. It reminds me of so many of my favorite things - the spa, the beach, romance, weddings, 50s retro appliances, weathered blue shutters on french cottages, and of course, the famous Tiffany's blue box.
It's so pure and calm, yet still adds instant personality to any space. It's a perfect mate for white, taupe, chocolate brown, olive green, and even red.
If you haven't used a shade of this colour in your home, you should try it. I promise you it will make you smile.
I've added a few pics of how I've used this colour in my home.
Fun Fact from Wikipedia: Did you know that, as a trademarked color, Tiffany Blue it is not publicly available and is not printed in the Pantone Matching System swatch books? The color is produced as a private custom color by Pantone, with PMS number 1837, the number deriving from the year of Tiffany's foundation!
P.S. Style at Home has a nice little piece on Christmas decorating with Tiffany Blue.
Do you love this colour too?

I do love this color? I have a more greyed version on my master bedroom walls. It is such a calm, serene color in a bedroom.
Really like the tiffany blue and silver.
